Fiona Musanga is a Rwandese filmmaker, writer, photographer and activist currently based in Helsinki, Finland. She graduated from Turku Classical Upper Secondary School with a diploma in acting, later moving on to study filmmaking at the Academy of Moving People & Images, an independent film school in Helsinki. Musanga wrote, directed and produced two short films titled Don’t worry and Alonely.
Currently she is writing a script for her debut feature film.
Musanga is also one of the founding members of Ubuntu Film Club, a collective that hosts film screenings and panel discussions all around Helsinki.
